Leslie and I visited Yellowstone National Park this February. It was the first time I have seen Yellowstone in the winter. While much of the park was covered in snow and ice, it wasn't nearly as deep or cold as typical years. We took a couple walks, one to catch the park at sunrise, and we took a bus tour. Between those outings we were able to appreciate some of the rich gifts this park has to offer in both wildlife and geology.
